Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that’s naturally produced in the skin when it’s directly exposed to sunlight.
It’s also available in some foods (such as mushrooms), and in supplements.
Vitamin D is responsible for regulating absorption of calcium and phosphorus and supporting normal immune function.
Getting enough vitamin D is necessary for normal growth of bones and teeth, as well as the ability to resist certain diseases.
Vitamin D3 is the form of vitamin D made in the skin when it’s exposed to sunlight. For this reason, it’s sometimes called the “sunshine vitamin”.
It’s made from animal sources such as fish oil, fatty fish, liver, and egg yolks.
Vitamin D3 ensures that calcium is absorbed easily and K2 (MK-7) helps integrate calcium into bone. Without D3 and K2, calcium cannot do its job effectively.
As we age, our skin’s ability to make vitamin D decreases. And in our current lifestyles where we spend most of our time indoors, we tend to get very limited exposure to sunlight.
This limits our body’s manufacture of vitamin D. We therefore need supplements to keep our bones healthy and maintain a robust immune system.
Among others, Vitamin D offers several benefits:

Vitamin D3, Vitamin K2 (MK7), Gelatin, Glycerin, Purified Water, sunflower oil, added color
As a dietary supplement, take 1-2 softgel daily, preferably with food. Or as directed by your physician.
