A Hands-On Experience in Real Small-Acre Living
Join Ali Reynolds for an intimate, small-group experience at her thriving 1/2-acre homestead in Southern Utah. Learn how Ali produces 80% of her family’s food through regenerative gardening, small livestock, and a beautifully balanced homestead system.
This isn’t a structured class—it’s a guided stroll through the gardens, orchard, animals, and greenhouse, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, get hands-on, and see how the flow of daily life works on a productive small homestead. You will be taught as you go and learn a different way than a structured class, but you will learn!
The homestead looks different in every season! Early spring you can see the bare bones of the garden, but spring flowers and the orchard are blooming beautifully! Late spring, things are coming alive, baby animals roam the orchard. Fall is abundant with harvests and a bit overgrown sometimes. Each season offers something new and exciting. You can't go wrong with whatever date you pick!
A walk through the organic gardens and greenhouse, where high production meets soil health and sustainability.
Visit the orchard and learn how fruit trees, compost, and animals all work together.
Spend time with Kune Kune pigs, dairy goats, turkeys, chickens, and meat birds while learning how to care for them naturally.
Discover daily chore flow—how everything connects in a balanced system.
Stop by the farmstand and enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at Ali’s handcrafted goods and farm products.
Enjoy a light seasonal lunch and herbal tea (hot or cold depending on the weather).
Each tour is intentionally small in size to create an intimate, hands-on experience. With fewer people, you’ll see and experience more—and have time to ask personal questions about your own homesteading goals.
