Description:
In 2018, the 333rd anniversary of Bach's birth, Richter's collection of Bach cantatas is re-released with Japanese lyrics and bilingual translation. No. 4 is for Easter Sunday (1st feast) and is said to have been composed in Mühlhausen around 1708. If the theory that it was written to apply for the position of organist in Mühlhausen is correct, it would be Bach's first cantata. No. 6 was written for Easter Monday (the second national holiday) and was first performed on April 2, 1725.No. 67 is a work for the first Sunday after Easter and was first performed on April 16, 1724.
