The treasured recordings of Lucia Popp, the eternal Supred Soprano who still shines brightly today! Lucia Popp (1939-1993) was loved by all as "the greatest Susanna of the 20th century. Her charming and innocent singing voice, her lustrous voice, and her dainty appearance made her an internationally renowned singer. Needless to say, when she passed away at the young age of 54, her fans all over the world were in tears of sorrow. Her best-known roles were Susanna in the aforementioned "Marriage of Figaro" and Adele in Kleiber's legendary "Die Fledermaus. Of course, she also excelled in other German operas.
