The Carine Trench Coat is a signature style, reworking a classic trench in a non-traditional cocoon silhouette. Made from sturdy cotton gabardines with check linings, it features a large collar, oversized pleated cuffed sleeves, deep welt front pockets, and cow horn buttons.

At Reine, every garment is tailored to fit you perfectly at no extra cost. Whether you’re based in Auckland or elsewhere, we offer in-person fittings at our Auckland atelier or virtual consultations. For virtual fittings, we can usually send a sample garment for you to try on. We source suitable fabrics in colours you prefer, with each piece made to your exact proportions for exceptional style and comfortable fit.

DESIGNER'S NOTE

The Carine Trench Coat holds a special place in my heart - it was the very first piece I designed for our debut collection. I wanted a trench that felt distinctive. So many felt same-same, and I needed something different in my own wardrobe.

The soft cocoon shape and three-quarter sleeves have been a favourite since we launched in July 2022. I still wear the original sample - it’s holding up beautifully. Customers are always surprised when I show it to them. It’s the perfect example of why Carine is one of our most popular styles - the ultimate cost-per-wear piece. A quick steam and it looks brand new.
