The special requirements of the geographically remote continent often require special solutions. Qantas was looking for an aircraft with which it could finally fly non-stop on its two most important long-haul routes of 16,000 and 17,000 kilometers from Sydney to New York and London. "Project Sunrise" is what Qantas called the project for which the Australian airline ordered a tailor-made aircraft from Airbus with the A350-1000 ULR (Ultra Long Range).

This plastic airplane model comes in 1/200 scale with landing gear and plastic stand. Model is approximately 13 inches long with 12 ¼ inch wingspan.
