BRESSER EQ-3 Telescope Mount incl. Tripod, black

The BRESSER EQ-3 is a versatile German equatorial telescope mount, perfect for light to medium-weight telescope tubes with a net weight of up to 5 kg. It requires a universal Vixen profile GP dovetail mounting bar, common on many commercially available telescopes.

This high-quality mount allows for quick alignment to the celestial pole and manual tracking of celestial objects via its single RA axis. Both RA and DEC axes feature manual slow-motion control cables for easy adjustment. The package includes a sturdy, yet lightweight, aluminum field tripod with adjustable leg height for optimal stability, even on rough terrain. A 1.5 kg counterweight is also included to balance the telescope tube and mount, with additional counterweights available if needed.

Note: For automatic Right Ascension tracking, the mount can be equipped with the optional motor set (Art. 4951400).
