Intended Application

This 36-inch upper brake line is a component within a modular system designed for custom installations, typically when the stock handlebars are replaced with taller ones, requiring a longer line. It is part of a two- or three-piece kit system for ABS bikes. 

Required Supporting Parts

The 1741-4114 brake line must be used in conjunction with other specific Magnum Shielding components to form a complete and safe ABS-compatible braking system:

Touring and Trike Models (2014+): Requires both this upper line and a corresponding Magnum Designer Mid-Line Brake Line to route the fluid from the ABS controller to the master cylinder. A lower line kit is optional for these models.

Dual Disc Softail Models (2018+): This upper line connects directly to a Magnum Lower Assembly using -3AN fittings. An adapter is not needed if replacing both upper and lower lines with Magnum parts.

Other Configurations: For other models (e.g., dual disc Dyna, single disc Softail), it requires the use of specific adapters or lower line assemblies designed to be compatible with the ABS system. 

Important: Failure to use the specific ABS-compatible upper and lower (or mid) lines may compromise the anti-lock braking ability of the motorcycle. 

To ensure correct fitment for a non-stock application, measurements for the required line length and banjo angle should be taken from the specific bike setup.
