Benjamin-Gunnar Kohls (b. 1965) original edition. Kohls was the associate editor of the MWV Bruckner Complete Editions from 1995 to 2011, where he was responsible for revising Bruckner's Ninth Finale (published in 2012), and since 2013 he has been the supervisor of the Bruckner Complete Editions, currently in progress from Schott, where he is also the editor of Bruckner No. 7 (2015, conducted by Rattle No. 7 (premiered by the Berlin Philharmonic conducted by Rattle in 2015), No. 6 (2016), Missa solemnis (2017), No. 5 (2018), and Requiem in D minor (2018) have been published, and he has also revised and conducted Mozart's Requiem. Rattle recorded with the Age of Enlightenment Orchestra in 2016 using this Coleus edition (the same combination was used for the world premiere performance in Paris in 2016), and after almost three years, he tackled this edition again, this time with his handpicked LSO.Bruckner's Symphony No. 6 is perhaps the most Brucknerian of his symphonic works. The LSO seems to be more faithful than ever to Rattle's vision of No. 6. The oneness of Rattle and the LSO makes for an impressive Bruckner. King International
