Albariño is a grape variety gaining more attention from winemakers worldwide. A varietal Albariño from a vineyard in the Brancott Valley, Marlborough, New Zealand, layered with peach and apricot, this is a beautifully textured Albariño with vibrancy and interest.
We've planted it in our hottest site; the Southern Valleys vineyard, with very old complex soils and a touch of clay. Terroir fantastic for giving wines aromatic intensity and textural complexity.

Vinification details: The grapes were machine harvested in the cool of the morning, cold settled and cool fermented in stainless steel tanks prior to blending and finishing for bottling in spring.
