We love our sunsets so much we named this wine Lusco - the Galician word for sunset - in homage to those fleeting moments that catch your breath. The winery dates back to the 16th century and features a beautiful historic chateau known as Pazo Piñero surrounded by 5 hectares of vineyards. DO Rías Baixas is renowned for the Albariño grape, an indigenous variety that produces some of the worlds foremost white wines. Lusco is a clear, bright, straw yellow. The nose is clean, with pronounced intensity. The dominant aromas are of ripe fruit, particularly pear and Golden Delicious apple, and flowers. On the palate, acidity and alcohol are remarkably well balanced. The wine reveals an interesting note of citrus, is structured on the palate and well rounded.
