Description:
Days of Delight is pleased to announce the release of an analog version of Three Blind Mice's treasured recordings, which have caused a great sensation since their CD release last year. Motohiko Hino Quartet + 2 "Flying Clouds" (recorded in 1976). Three months after the stage performance of the famous album "Drift Ice" recorded in Nemuro, Hokkaido, the sextet, including Yuji Imamura as a member of the recording team, gives a white-hot performance. The recording was digitized from the remaining 2-inch master tapes and tracked down by Yoshihiko Kannari, the "keeper of the TBM sound," who was also in charge of this live recording, under the supervision of Takeshi Fujii, who presided over "Three Blind Mice. The TBM sound of half a century ago has been reproduced. This is a valuable record that vividly captures the passion of Japanese jazz at its peak in the 1970s.
