The Vortex Optics Crossfire is a closed emitter red dot sight for rifles, carbines, and PCCs. It comes with two picatinny rail mounts (low and lower 1/3 co-witness), so it is compatible with a wide range of AR-15s, Shotguns, and any other firearm with a picatinny rail optic mounting system.

The 20mm viewing window allows the shooter to quickly acquire targets. The 2 MOA dot reticle is available in both red and green. The reticle has 11 brightness settings (9 daylight and 2 night vision) that the shooter can adjust with the knob on the side of the optic. The brightness adjustment knob is also used to turn the red dot off when not in use.

The durable Aluminum housing provides a robust mounting solution and protects the lens and emitter from damage. Two colors are available, black and FDE (Flat Dark Earth). The sight is nitrogen purged and O-ring sealed, resulting in fogproof and waterproof operation. The lenses are treated with an anti-reflective coating to provide greater clarity and improve low-light performance.

The included lower 1/3 co-witness picatinny rail mount works great for AR-15s and PCCs with standard iron sights. This mount sets the bottom of the viewing window 1.2” above the mounting rail.

The include low picatinny rail mount is a good mounting solution for shotguns and carbines. This mount sets the bottom of the viewing window 0.35” above the mounting rail.

The standard CR2032 battery provides 50,000 hours of runtime on the “5” brightness setting. The battery is in the brightness adjustment knob, and can be easily changed by removing the cap.

This sight can be zeroed with the adjustment knobs on the top and side of the sight. The aluminum covers include a slotted top that provides a tool less adjustment design. There is no need for a screw driver or special tool.

A rubber lens cover is included, along with the two mounts, a Torx wrench, user manual, lens cloth, and CR2032 battery.
