DESCRIPTION

The SmithCo SX6-53-40 is a high-capacity side dump trailer engineered for maximum durability and efficiency in heavy-duty hauling. Built on a 53′ frame with a 40′ SX-ROUND BOTTOM tub, it delivers a load capacity of 26.8 cubic yards (water level) and 35.6 cubic yards (heaped). Constructed with 3/16″ AR450 steel sides and floor, the SX6-53-40 is designed to withstand abrasive materials and demanding jobsite conditions.

Equipped with 6″ hydraulic cylinders, an electric/hydraulic control valve, and Ridewell RW260 air ride suspension, this trailer ensures smooth dumping, reliable performance, and long service life. With multiple steerable lift axles, advanced braking, and durable hubs, the SX6-53-40 is a proven solution for contractors, aggregate haulers, and construction fleets requiring maximum payload and versatility.
