Newly digitally remastered radio broadcast recordings of live performances by the Allman Brothers Band with early bassist Berry Oakley are now available in Japan on imported vinyl with Japanese obi and bilingual booklet! This album was recorded for WNEW-FM broadcast at Manley Field House in Syracuse, NY on April 7, 1972, and includes "Whipping Post" from their first studio album "The Allman Brothers Band" released in 1969, "Idol" from "Idol The set list includes many of their best-known songs such as "Whipping Post" from their first studio album "The Allman Brothers Band" released in 1969, "Midnight Rider" from "Idol: The Wild South" in 1970, the classic "Remembering Elizabeth Reed" and "Time Is Not Wasted" from "Eat A Peach" released in 1972. In 1971, leader Duane Allman was killed in an accident, and a year later, bassist Berry Oakley also passed away in an accident, but this is a rare performance from the time when Berry Oakley was still with the band.
