Transitional Finishing Practices have become one of our most respected titles in recent times. The approach looks to re-energise the approach we take to finishing practices in coaching. How often do we see coaches create finishing practices in blocked approaches, with limited transfer to the real game? We have all seen these types of practice with queues and lines, before finishing from straight down the middle of the pitch.

Transitional finishing practices looks to change that approach, the idea is to create finishing practices within a much more random environment that challenges players to make decisions under the pressure of a real playing situation, the sessions also all include some element of transition. The element of transition means the attacking players must develop an action both in and out of possession, challenging them to be able to make decisions quickly when the focus has moved from out of possession to in possession.

Each session has a bank of detail that will help you as a coach deliver the session with confidence.
