The MicroEtcher™ CD is a chairside intraoral air-abrasion (micro-etching) device designed to create controlled surface micro-roughening for improved adhesive retention. Built with a custom KaVo MULTIflex®-style disconnect, it plugs directly into a KaVo MULTIflex coupler for fast setup and dependable performance during restorative and repair procedures.

To use the MicroEtcher™ CD, you’ll need a KaVo MULTIflex®-style coupler on your delivery unit (this is what the handpiece plugs into). Choose the coupler that matches your operatory setup (4-hole or 6-hole). Then simply snap the MicroEtcher™ CD onto the MULTIflex coupler like a standard quick-disconnect. The parts below help you maintain the coupler (seals, spray/nozzle components, and Lux lighting parts) so you get consistent air flow and a reliable connection.
