South Australia's McLaren Vale sources truly premium fruit. At Virgin Wines, we have championed the wines from here for many years and always get first dibs on the best parcels. When our winemaker, Steve, was offered this parcel, he recognised that it was the best fruit he'd seen in years and produced a wine that sat above our all-time-favourite Aussie red - The Black Pig! It has a depth of black fruit that is incredible alongside intense spice and a full-bodied style that screams out for grilled meats of all kinds, although its status as a vegan-friendly wine makes it a popular choice across the board.

The grapes were harvested at the peak of their ripening to capture maximum freshness for bright and vibrant characters and intense varietal character.
