The Osage Ancestral Territory Map is a 24 x 36 inch poster ready for framing that showcases Osage ancestral territory. This map includes locations of Osage villages of past and present, important forts where Osages interacted with early settlers, and Osage sacred sites within Osage ancestral territory. The Osage Ancestral Territory Map is an exclusive production of the Osage Nation Historic Preservation Office and is available for the first time to help support the Sugarloaf Mound Fund. The Osage Nation bought Sugarloaf Mound with the intent to preserve and protect the last surviving mound of the prehistoric mound group that once occupied downtown St. Louis and were culturally-affiliated with the Osage. All proceeds will be used to continue preservation efforts for Sugarloaf Mound.
