Skinos Mastiha Spirit is a distinctive liqueur originating from Chios, Greece, made using the resin of the native mastiha tree. This resin, often referred to as the “tears of Chios,” is valued for its unique taste and aroma. The production involves carefully extracting the sap through incisions in the tree’s bark, followed by distillation with alcohol. The clear spirit delivers a refreshing flavour profile, highlighted by pine and mint notes with a gentle sweetness.
