Electrocyn™ Sóma is pH stabilized electro-activated super-oxidized water based solution (EASW) for cleaning, irrigation and debriding of wounds. This advanced wound care solution is neutral in pH and biocompability tested. Electrocyn™ Sóma is non-irritant and ready to use on various types of wounds. The hypochlorous acid (HOCl) ensures safe preservation of the solution and makes Electrocyn™ Sóma an effective wound cleansing, debridement and irrigation solution. 

Electrocyn™ Sóma contains a preservative that naturally occurs in the body; hypochlorous acid. Hypochlorous acid prevents the proliferation of gram positive and gram negative bacteria including MRSA, fungi and spores. This solution acts mechanically to cleanse the wound and to be applied directly (without dilution) on body surface, skin and wounds. 

Indications: Cleansing and rinsing of various types of wounds, including chronic wounds such as diabetic foot ulcer, pressure ulcer, venous leg ulcer, acute wounds, cuts, bite wounds, lacerations, abrasions, surgical wounds (intraoperative and postoperative), burns up to 2nd degree, fistulas, abscesses and soft tissue injuries. 

Directions For Use:

• Apply directly to soak the wound including placing a soaked gauze. 
• Cover with any secondary dressing as required. 
• Suitable for moistening the wound dressing and for loosening encrusted wound dressings. 

Ingredients:
Hypochlorus acid (HOCl), NaCl, NaOCl, purified water 99.9%. 

Cautions:

• Do not use the product if the temper proof seal is damaged or tempered with. 
• Do not expose the product to extreme temperature conditions (recommended storage below 30°C). 
• Stability is affected if the bottle is not stored or closed properly after each use. 
• Electrocyn™ Sóma is stable for the shelf life indicated as per expiry date, if unopened and in its original packaging. 
• Discard opened bottle after 30 days or if signs of contamination are observed in the bottle. 
• Seek medical attention in the case of serious wounds, deep wounds, signs of infection or if the wound does not show signs of healing. 
• Notify your healthcare specialist in case of any adverse effect. 
• Do not use if hypersensitive to sodium hypochlorite. 
• For external use only (not for injection or consumption).
