The Sol de Ibiza plastic free, natural sunscreen is an all-natural, certified organic and vegan sunscreen. It is free from harsh chemicals, heavy metals, chemicals, fragrances and preservatives.

It is safe and tested for use on sensitive skin. It’s Water Resistant 40 minutes. Fragrance free in order to avoid sensitisation or allergic reactions during sun exposure, also for this reason particularly suitable for children. All the ingredients are organically farmed and use natural materials to make them completely vegan and safe for use.

Why does safe, natural sunscreen matter?

The sunscreen you put on your and your kids’ bodies day in and day out doesn’t just evaporate into thin air. Where does that white, skin-protecting cream go?

It’s either absorbed into your body, washed off into the water you swim in, or both. That’s precisely why safe sunscreen matters. Because when sunscreen absorbs into your skin, it can directly impact your health.

And when sunscreen washes off into the ocean water you swim in, it affects the environment around us: the water system, the coral reefs, the fish, and other sea creatures (which, in turn, affects us when we drink the water or eat the fish).

Sol De Ibiza donates 1% of all of its revenue to the Ibiza Preservation Foundation which is a foundation that works to preserve and protect the land and sea in Ibiza and Formentera. This helps keep the land looking amazing while preserving the natural resources and well being of the area.

About Sol de Ibiza

"I moved to Ibiza in 2015 as a deliberate shift away from my previous 100-flights-a-year career. I fell in love with the beautiful deep Mediterranean waters, so I started swimming open water every day in every condition all year around.

The island gets extremely busy in the summer and one day I was finishing a long swim and passing a point, I clearly remember the smell of disgusting chemical.

One day a friend of mine came to me with the idea of creating a natural sunscreen, I embraced the Sol de Ibiza project straight away and through some basic researches I quickly realized how chemical free products would be beneficial not only for the skin but also for the sea I love to swim in."
