The TacMed™ Patrol Trauma Response Kit (PTRK) is a belt-mounted trauma pouch built for law enforcement officers and EMS professionals who need immediate access to hemorrhage-control supplies at a critical incident. Measuring 7" L x 4" W x 3" D and weighing 14 oz fully loaded, the PTRK positions essential gear on the provider's body where it is most accessible. An internal divider keeps the included SOF® Tourniquet isolated from the Esmark Bandage, gauze, and chest seal, and a dedicated pocket holds one pair of gloves. The pouch can operate as a standalone belt kit or scale up by attaching to the optional Pouch-Attaching Strap to integrate with the LAPD Kit, Patrol Rifle Response Kit, or standard Drop Leg Kit.
The PTRK mounts directly to a duty belt in its standalone configuration. With the separately sold Pouch-Attaching Strap, the kit integrates with three TacMed platform expansions: the LAPD Kit, the Patrol Rifle Response Kit, and the standard Drop Leg Kit. This modularity lets the provider start with the PTRK as a minimal everyday carry and add capacity as the mission requires without replacing the base pouch.
The kit ships with a SOF® Tourniquet, an Esmark Bandage, gauze, a chest seal, and one pair of gloves. An internal divider physically separates the tourniquet from the bandage, gauze, and chest seal compartment, reducing the chance of fumbling for the wrong item in a high-stress draw. The single-glove-pair pocket keeps PPE accessible without cluttering the main compartment.
The PTRK includes a SOF® Tourniquet, an Esmark Bandage, gauze, a chest seal, and one pair of gloves. An internal divider keeps the tourniquet separated from the bandaging supplies so each item is fast to locate under pressure.
Yes. The PTRK is designed to be worn on the belt in its standalone configuration, keeping critical trauma supplies on the provider's body rather than in a bag or vehicle.
Yes. With the optional Pouch-Attaching Strap (sold separately), the PTRK attaches to the LAPD Kit, the Patrol Rifle Response Kit, or the standard Drop Leg Kit, scaling the system from a minimal belt carry to a larger modular trauma platform.
The pouch measures 7" L x 4" W x 3" D and weighs 14 oz. That footprint keeps the kit compact enough to wear all day on a duty belt without displacing other equipment.
No. The Pouch-Attaching Strap is sold separately. The PTRK functions as a complete standalone belt kit out of the box; the strap is only needed if you plan to integrate it with a larger TacMed platform.
It depends on your training and local regulations. The PTRK is designed for law enforcement officers and EMS professionals trained in hemorrhage control. Anyone carrying this kit should be proficient with every item inside, particularly tourniquet application and chest seal deployment.
