Description:
Muse is undoubtedly one of the leading bands of the contemporary British rock scene, with a modern rock sound that has gained a large following, while skillfully incorporating the musical essence of 1970's British rock, such as psychedelic, progressive, and glam. Muse is undoubtedly one of the leading bands of the modern British rock scene. Muse's album "Origin of Symmetry" was released in July 2001, and reached No. 3 in the UK Album Charts and was a double platinum disc. Following the release of this album, the band embarked on the "Origin Of Symmetry Tour" from Europe to Japan. During this tour, the band performed at La Route du Rock, a rock festival held on the outskirts of Paris, on August 11 of the same year. The festival was broadcast throughout Europe via MTV, and this album was released using the soundtrack from this broadcast. The setlist of the day was selected from two albums, and this live album is a complete recording of the concert.Although the band was under a lot of pressure to perform as an up-and-coming rock band, their live performance, with its outstanding technique and emotional melodies, was magnificent and predictive of the band's future success. Matthew Bellamy (vo, g, kbds), Dominic Howard (ds), Chris Wolstenholme (b)
