The 1995 sits at the structured end of the Museum Shiraz range. A cooler year in the Great Southern produced wines with firmer tannins and more restrained aromatics at release, but three decades in bottle have allowed those elements to fully resolve. The wine is now in a tertiary phase of savoury complexity: dried herbs, dark spice and preserved plum, with a long, composed finish. A genuine record of early Mount Barker winemaking, sourced from estate vineyards first planted in 1968 and matured in French oak for 16 to 18 months before bottling.
