With a wide 89-inch (225 cm) working width, the SMO-225 is engineered to efficiently cut and mulch grass, cover crops, brush, and prunings up to 2.8 inches (7 cm) in diameter. Its high-tensile steel housing, forged hammer flails, and dual internal counter knives guarantee an exceptionally clean and uniform mulching result, even on tough, uneven terrain.

One of the mower’s standout features is its linear hydraulic side shift, allowing operators to adjust the cutting path by up to 11 inches (28 cm) from the cab ideal for maneuvering around fence lines, trees, vineyard rows, or orchard trunks. The unique pyramid-shaped 3-point hitch design enables both front and rear mounting, offering flexible setup options based on tractor configuration or operator preference.

The flail rotor is built with a helical design for balanced power distribution and smoother operation, reducing strain on the tractor’s driveline.
