The phrase "timeless classic" is pretty over-used in the world of interiors. But the Florence Knoll sofa is more deserving of this description that any other sofa we can think of. Available in a huge range of fabrics and leathers, in an almost infinite colour palette you are sure to be able to select a finish to suit your interior. Seat and back cushions are finished with matching buttons on leather upholstery, and without buttons for all fabric versions. There is a co-ordinating two seat sofa as well as an armchair and benches.

As well as commissioning furniture from her Cranbrook colleagues, Florence Knoll designed her own furniture. She modestly called her designs the fill-in pieces that nobody else was doing Eero and Bertoia did the stars. The simple, elegant design of her fill-in pieces has allowed them to stand the test of time.

Construction
Inner frame is solid wood.
Exposed metal frame and legs constructed of heavy gauge tubular steel.
Seat suspension with No-Sag springs.
Arm, seat and back cushions are variable density foam welted and button tufted.
Pieces upholstered in leather have matching buttons; pieces upholstered in fabric do not have buttons.

Finishes
Metal frame finish available in either polished chrome or satin chrome.
Upholstery available in a range of fabric or Spinneybeck leather. This product is available with foam that meets requirements for BS5852.
