This is the CD release of the performance in Utrecht, Holland at the end of "COMPUTER WORLD TOUR 1981", the biggest world tour in the history of Kraftwerk! With the release of "Computer World" (1981), Kraftwerk began a world tour for the first time in five years. This tour is also known as the first tour in which Kraftwerk performed in Japan. The synthesizer environment at that time still required huge equipment, and the tour was conducted on a scale as if the Kling Krank studio they had in Dusseldorf at that time had been moved directly to the new location. Despite the title of the album, there were no computers installed.Of course, the performance was also human-powered, so there were good and bad performances, and this show at Muziekcentrum Vredenburg in Utrecht, the Netherlands, which took place three shows before the final show at the end of a tour of nearly 100 shows, was a very mature show. The recording is from a performance in the Netherlands. What is recorded here is an FM recording that was broadcast in the Netherlands, but the concert does not seem to have been broadcast together, and is composed of three sound sources.
