The Crosby S-253 Web Sling Shackle is built for use with larger-capacity synthetic slings, offering a squared bow design that enhances load distribution and sling alignment. This shape prevents bunching and sliding, allowing the sling to carry 100% of its rated Working Load Limit-something standard anchor or chain shackles can't match.

With a wider internal surface area, this shackle reduces wear and stress on sling material, making it ideal for connecting web or round slings to pad eyes, lifting lugs, or eye bolts. It's an excellent choice for lifting operations where consistent load control and sling preservation are critical.

Each unit is forged in the USA from high-strength alloy steel and features a screw pin closure. A non-slip finish ensures slings stay in place under load. The shackle body is clearly stamped with the Crosby name, working load limit, and PIC code for full traceability and inspection readiness.
