Step into the next generation of racing simulation with the DOF Reality H3 HERO Motion Platform, engineered for drivers who want a strong balance of realism, precision, and performance. Built for professional racers, esports competitors, and serious enthusiasts, this platform delivers an incredible sense of motion and immersion that makes every lap feel more lifelike.
Since 2014, DOF Reality has been advancing high-performance motion simulation technology for home racing setups, commercial simulators, and training environments. The H3 HERO continues that legacy by combining powerful motion mechanics with refined ergonomics for an authentic track experience that responds to terrain changes, braking, acceleration, and vehicle movement.
Designed with three degrees of freedom, the H3 HERO recreates pitch, roll, and yaw / rear traction movement. You feel acceleration, braking, drifting, understeer, loss of traction, bumps, and road texture in a way that connects your physical cockpit to the virtual vehicle.
Using Sim Racing Studio software, the system converts in-game telemetry into physical feedback in real time. Every vibration, bump, gear shift, and road surface change is translated into motion for a more visceral racing experience.
Constructed with premium-grade materials and advanced motor control technology, the H3 HERO offers smooth, quiet, and responsive motion. Its compact but robust design makes it a strong choice for home users, sim centers, and professional training environments.
When you choose the DOF Reality H3 HERO, you are investing in a motion platform that can grow with your racing setup. It is backed by manufacturer support and designed for years of competitive racing enjoyment.

The H3 HERO adds a third axis beyond standard pitch and roll platforms, giving you rear traction / yaw movement for a more dynamic racing experience.

Exact numerical specs can vary slightly based on configuration and year of manufacture. If you need precise engineering numbers, confirm the current DOF Reality datasheet before purchase.
A. Yes. The H3 is a full-platform motion rig, meaning the seat, wheel, pedals, shifter, and attached accessories move together in harmony. This creates a more natural cockpit feel compared to seat-only motion systems.
A. Yes, but console support depends on the game and setup method. Consoles operate within closed and proprietary platforms. Only select games, such as Gran Turismo 7, Gran Turismo Sport, Project CARS, Project CARS 2, Assetto Corsa, F1 titles, Forza Motorsport 7, and Forza Horizon 4 and 5, can send motion data from consoles using UDP over the network.
For supported console games, a MagicBox solution may be required. For the latest supported PC and console games, please refer to DOF Reality’s supported games list or contact us before ordering.
A. The H3 supports most bottom-mount car or gaming seats, giving you flexibility to choose the seat that feels best for your driving style.
A bucket-style racing seat is recommended for better stability during strong motion. A 4-point or 6-point harness can also be added for extra security, although it is optional. A lightweight seat is ideal because it helps the motion platform react faster and more precisely.
Seat Mount Dimensions:
A. The H3 is prepared, tested, and calibrated before shipment, then disassembled into manageable sections for safe delivery. Some assembly is required when it arrives.
Assembly is straightforward and allows you to configure the platform around your preferred seat, wheel, pedals, and cockpit layout.
A. The DOF Reality motion simulator is compatible with major VR headsets, but motion simulation in VR may require setup adjustments. When the platform moves, your head and VR headset move too. This can cause the headset sensors to interpret platform motion as real-world head movement, which may create visual movement or “swimming” effects if not compensated.
Many users reduce the motion intensity first. If more correction is needed, motion compensation software such as OpenVR Motion Compensation can be used with a tracker mounted to the platform.
For base-station VR systems, users often mount a Valve Index Controller, HTC Vive Controller, or Vive Tracker to the platform. For inside-out tracking systems, users may mount an Oculus Touch Controller or WMR controller where the headset cameras can see it.
A. It is considered quiet for a motion rig. Actuator noise is minimal, and cooling fans are typically the main audible element during operation.
A. Yes. The H3 supports upgrades such as enhanced gearboxes and damping kits to refine the motion feel. It is also compatible with the H6 Platform Upgrade for future expansion.
A. The listed supported pilot and cockpit weight is 330 lbs / 150 kg. Always stay within the manufacturer’s rated capacity for best performance and safety.
A. The platform footprint is approximately 3 ft x 5 ft x 2 ft high. For motion clearance, entry / exit space, and cable routing, plan for additional breathing room around the platform.
A. Allow approximately 3–5 hours for full installation, including mounting hardware, wiring, software setup, and calibration. Actual setup time may vary based on experience, accessories, and cockpit layout.
A. No. The H3 arrives as a motion platform only. Seat, steering wheel, wheel base, pedals, displays, PC, simulator games, and VR headset are sold separately.
A. You receive the complete motion platform system, tested and calibrated before shipment. For safe delivery, the unit is disassembled into manageable sections. After arrival, reassemble the platform, install the included motion software on your PC, connect the controller via USB, and complete calibration.
All necessary core parts, hardware, and basic tools are included for setup.
