The new album from Mats Bergstrom Musik, a Scandinavian-Swedish guitarist, is a collection of works for guitar by Ulle Adolphsson, a singer-songwriter and poet, who has also left behind some well-known Swedish standards. Mats Bellistrem, who studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and the Juilliard School in New York, and had a very successful performance of Reich's "Electric Counterpoint" at the BBC Proms in 2011, became a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music in 2006, and was honored by the King of Sweden in 2011.
