Why Choose a Nostalgia Chassis? The 80″ wheelbase Nostalgia chassis features a fiberglass floor designed to complement the Berrien Buggy line. It is built in a jig to use stock VW Type 1 running gear (1958–1978, excluding Super Beetle) but fits any body designed for a stock Beetle pan shortened by 14 ½".

·         Superior Construction: Built from square tubing with a 2″ main frame and 1-½″ infrastructure.

·         Built-In Lift: The design adds an extra 1-½″ of body lift for increased tire clearance.

·         Durability: The ribbed fiberglass floor offers added strength, and the shiny black gel-coat finish prevents rust—no painting required.

·         Convenience: Includes factory-installed clutch cable tube, master cylinder mount, Hydraulic Clutch mount, pedal mount, and seat track brackets. Body mounting holes are pre-drilled, sealed, and recessed to prevent bolt protrusion.

·         Your Choice of Balljoint or Kinpin front end and IRS or Swing Axle at no charge. 

Title & Registration Made Easy When you purchase a chassis from 109 Dune Buggies, you receive a Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin (MCO). For Texas residents, this MCO makes legally titling and registering your Dune Buggy significantly easier than using an OEM title or having no title at all.
