Barro Amarillo Miniature CantaritoThis beautifully hand crafted miniature jar with lid is made in Tamazulapam del Espritu Santo in the Sierra Mixe region of Oaxaca. Artisan women have been sculpting and firing this beautiful earthenware since pre colonial times. We have smaller sizes of this clay currently at the shop, but most impressive is the scale they work in to create these kitchen and decorative tools. We are happy to share the characteristic shade of this technique with you.
