Making coffee with a lever espresso machine.
Making espresso with a lever machine can be very satisfying but it does require quite a bit of practice and is not for the impatient person. Lever espresso machines are like old sports cars, they need to be used with love, care and passion to get the most enjoyment out of them. There are many resources like facebook groups and videos on youtube that can guid you on this journey.
Is the Europiccola the right machine for me?
It is important to note that the Eurpiccola's boiler only holds 800ml of water. You cannot refill these machines while they are hot. You have to wait for the machine to cool down enough so that there is no more steam pressure at the steam wand before opening the boiler for a refill. It is therefor not suitabel for someone wanting to make many espresso in a short space of time.
