The EURYDICE necklace. The story of Orpheus and Eurydice is one of the most beautiful and tragic in Greek mythology. In the story, Orpheus, the greatest poet, and musician in history tries to reclaim his wife, Eurydice, who has passed away. To save his loved one, Orpheus will travel to the underworld and back. He makes a deal with Hades to retrieve his loved one as long as he does not look back at Eurydice. However due to his petty human temptation, he breaks his promise and forever loses her to the underworld.
