A spoken word piece, a German reading of a Pasolini poem, commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of the master of Italian cinema. Italian poet, essayist, and filmmaker Pier Paolo Pasolini was always an independent and independent chronicler of his times. His writings tirelessly denounce the social ills of his country, but his questioning of his Catholic faith and the art of poetry also runs through his work like a streak. Wolff Wondlatschek wrote in an accompanying note, "He wanted to celebrate the festival of life, the flower of passion, the flower of play, and finally, as an extreme act, the flower of death, his own death." Essential to this undertaking was the question of how close one could come to the meaning of poetry, to move from being an admirer to becoming a brother of the poet.
