This VW AUDI 2.0 CR TDI Round Port EGR Cooler Delete Pipe is designed to remove the EGR cooler on 2.0 CR 140/170 TDI round port engines only, excluding oval port and MQB platforms.

Installation requires minor trimming of original rubber hoses and slight filing on the inlet manifold for the blanking plate.

The kit includes two large blanking plates, two gaskets, and one stainless steel pipe (or race tube if selected).

It replaces the EGR valve while preserving the ASV (Anti Shudder Valve) for smooth engine shutdown.

Removing the EGR valve prevents carbon buildup in the inlet, which can negatively impact fuel economy and performance.

Note: fitting this kit will trigger a diagnostic trouble code (DTC), illuminating the engine management light and necessitating ECU reprogramming to disable the EGR function in software.
