The Technique of Fugue," a masterpiece from Bach's final years, was originally written with no instruments specified for performance, and while the work itself is perfectly written, it can be freely arranged. Even today, more than 270 years after the work was written, new arrangements of the work are being created one after another. The group performing on this album is the uniquely named "Austrian Art Gang," an ensemble of saxophone, guitar, clarinet, clarinet, and piano.
