The Brownstone label was established in the early 70s by Henry Stone, owner of T.K. Records, which dominated the disco scene, and JB. It released singles by Bobby Byrd and others. In 2007, the year after JB's death, Henry Stone released a memorial album for him. It includes duets with Gospel Song and his ally Bobby Byrd, as well as songs sung by his two beloved daughters.
