Bach (1685-1750)
Description:
The Quinta Essentia Recorder Quartet, a South American Brazilian recorder ensemble, has recorded one of the finest works constructed by J.S. Bach in his masterful counterpoint, "The Technique of Fugue," for four recorders. In preparation for this recording, Quinta Essentia studied two sources: Bach's own manuscripts (1742-46) and the 1751 symphonic pamphlet compiled by C.P.E. Bach, in search of the best form for constructing the "Technique des Fugues" with four recorders, The recording is over 81 minutes long, which is also a key point. Tokyo M-Plus
