The large 0.91” x 0.63” viewing window allows the shooter to quickly acquire targets. The Multi Reticle System (MRS) includes a 2 MOA dot and a 32 MOA circle. The shooter can select from three different reticle configurations. The 2 MOA dot, the 32 MOA circle, or both the dot and the circle together. Red and Green reticles are available.

The durable 7075 Aluminum housing provides a robust mounting solution and protects the lens and emitter from damage. The bottom of the viewing window is only 0.34” high (bottom of the optic to the bottom of the window). This allows this red dot to easily co-witness with most factory iron sights. For optics ready handguns like the Walther PDP, this sight co-witnesses in the lower 1/3 of the viewing window.

The 507C includes Holosun’s Solar Failsafe feature. In ambient light, the red dot is powered by the solar panel. In low light, the red dot is powered by the internal CR1632 battery. The battery can be changed via a slide out, side facing tray, eliminating the need to remove the red dot from the pistol to change the battery.

Shake Awake technology also saves battery life (rated at 50,000 hours) by turning the optic off when it is not in use. A sensitive internal sensor turns the optic on as soon as it detects any movement. The adjustable sleep timer is set to 10 minutes by default. This can be changed by the user or turned off completely.

The dot brightness can be changed manually by the user with 10 daylight settings and 2 night vision settings. This optic will also automatically adjust the dot brightness based on the ambient light conditions. A third lockout mode is available that will lock the dot brightness at the users setting.

Two sets of mounting screws are included with this optic. Included are (4) 6-32 x 7.5mm, and (4) 6-32 x 9.5mm screws. A lens cloth and adjustment tool are also included.
