Note: In the open (stood-off) position, clearance may be tight on pre-’67 engine lids with stock blade bumpers—similar to traditional standoff brackets. No cutting is required; just gently push the lid up for a clean fit.

To maintain smooth operation, we recommend keeping the sliding mechanism lightly oiled or greased, especially in wet conditions.

Important: Not compatible with the factory engine lid spring.
