The ColorMax 7C Digital Color Printer uses the latest in inkjet technology to produce full-color output. This digital printer features high-speed color printing for a variety of media including letterhead, invitations, postage and barcodes, windowed/non-windowed envelopes, and invoices. The ColorMax 7C is different from the ColorMax7 in that it comes with a conveyor stacker in order to keep your print jobs running efficiently. This digital printer produces full-color CMYK output using Memjet thermal technology, which means that this printer does not require heat or contact to create an image, so it can be used on pre-printed and windowed envelopes without damaging the window or and and a fixed, 8.77" print head bar that spans the length of the entire printing surface for full bleed capabilities up to 8.5" wide. The Colormax 7C can produce up to 16.8 million colors on all types of paper stocks, weights, and sizes, and up to 1600 x 1600 dpi resolution with it's 70,400 ink nozzles. This provides higher speeds, more precise printing using less ink, and producing less noise than standard print heads. The ColorMax C7 is able to process at a rate of 3,600 sheets per hour and 7,500 #10 envelopes an hour. The recommended duty cycle is 30 million pieces or 500,000 over a 5-year life cycle. The built-in top-load feeder is perfect for high volume print jobs. For convenience, the fully-automated print head maintenance cleans the print head to keep your printer running in optimal condition.
