E-flite F4U-4 Electric Warbird with Functional Split Flaps

The E-flite F4U-4 Corsair 1.2m BNF Basic Electric Airplane is modeled after one of the most iconic U.S. Navy and Marine fighters of World War II. The F4U-F Corsair was the last variant of the original Vought F4U-1 used during WWII. It was produced in early 1945 and featured a 4-blade propeller and higher maximum speeds. E-flite has faithfully recreated the feel of this warbird down to the rotating retracts and split flaps. Now is your chance to fly an even more capable corsair.

E-flite has outfitted this model corsair with a specially tuned brushless motor and a Spektrum SMART 70-amp ESC. This combination provides an abundance of thrust on 3S and nearly unlimited vertical on 4S. The lightweight and durable airframe provides extreme support and scale detail. Functional scale features include rotating retracts with strut covers, as well as split flaps. These split flaps allow for improved slow-speed performance with shorter takeoffs and landings. With the included AR631 receiver, this is the smartest and easiest to fly Corsair yet!
