＜The "Hamamatsu Museum of Musical Instruments Collection Series 30" features works from 19th century France played on an 1874 Erard piano from the museum's collection. The works include Liszt's "Dream of Love" and "La Campanella," Ravel's "Pavane for a Dead Princess," and Satie's "Gymnopédie," all of which are well-known masterpieces performed on the Erard piano that supported the French music world at the time. The virtuoso Takuko Ogura's free and spontaneous performance allows the audience to enjoy the passion of the Parisian virtuosos who dominated the Romantic era, as well as the elegant sounds of modern French music, all while thinking back to those days.
