Product Features:

Sumitomo T-502S Active Clad Aligning Splicer ( SUM-T502S), designed for installers terminating in the last mile, with Nano Tune Technology to help reduce re-works. This is a small handheld style unit which comes with a useful splice table and neck strap so can be used with minimal set up.

The T-502S automatically pre-inspects and aligns a pair of optical single fibers with equipped microscopes, and then fuses them together with heat from an electric arc to form a low-loss splice. A protection sleeve is applied over the bare glass and cured in the built-in heat shrink oven.
