The grate spacing is tight enough that their paws won’t fall through but wide enough for the poop to drop through easily. It’s also quick and easy to clean. The heavy-duty vinyl-covered metal grate is hinged to the plastic tray, so you can lift it, remove soiled paper towels, wipe it down, and replace with fresh towels—all in no time. This keeps the poop away from the puppies.

Many puppy trays have small square holes, but puppy poop is long, like a tootsie roll, and doesn’t fall through those holes. This means feces stays on top, and puppies often track or even eat it!
