After the sterilization cycle, the biological indicator is activated by crushing the glass ampoule, allowing the spore strip to come into contact with the growth medium. Incubation in the SOLVENTUM (3M) Attest™ Auto-reader 390 for one hour yields a fluorescent result, providing a clear indication of sterilization effectiveness.
