This scene from the The Unicorn at the Fountain Tapestry Large is called "Unicorn at the Fountain" and shows the hunters watching how the unicorn dips his horn in the water running from the fountain in to the river. Around the unicorn there are many animals which in medieval times were thought to have different meanings, amongst the many are rabbits which were a symbol of hope for many children and deer’s which were protectors against snakes.
