Siccari is Sicilian dialect for sun-dried; we let our finest grapes dry naturally in the Sicilian sunshine, a wine-making style called appassimento. The juice in the grapes becomes very concentrated, giving a wine which is truly different.
Siccari has an intense bouquet of damsons, it is voluptuous and silky-smooth, with layers of luscious flavours, from raisins to Morello cherries.
Purato is a range of organic Sicilian wines with a conscience! It is Green-To-The-Extreme as it ticks every sustainable box: organic, carbon-neutral, vegan-friendly, and packaged in recycled and recyclable materials.

The name Siccari comes from the Sicilian dialect for seccare, which translates as to dry in the context of foods.
